Description

Delicious marshmallows perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 packets unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Green food coloring

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Heat over medium until boiling.
  2. In a bowl, bloom gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water.
  3. Pour hot sugar mixture into bloomed gelatin and mix until dissolved.
  4. Add vanilla extract and salt, then mix well.
  5. Mix in green food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  6. Pour mixture into a greased pan and let it set for at least 4 hours.
  7. Once set, dust with powdered sugar and cut into squares.

  • Store in an airtight container.
