Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted.
  5. Add vanilla extract and nuts, if using.
  6. Pour into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  7. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
