Description

Delicious chocolate peanut butter swirl bars with a rich and creamy texture. Perfect for dessert or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt in a bowl until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the prepared pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. In a separate bowl, melt peanut butter and spread it over the baked crust.
  6. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil and drizzle over the peanut butter layer.
  7. Use a knife to swirl the chocolate and peanut butter together.
  8. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.

  • For a firmer texture, freeze for 30 minutes before cutting.
  • Substitute almond butter if peanut butter is unavailable.
