Description

A rich chocolate hazelnut tart with a crisp crust and smooth, nutty filling.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 100g unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 200g chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 50g chopped toasted hazelnuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix flour, powdered sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add cold butter and rub into the flour until crumbly.
  4. Stir in the egg yolk to form a dough.
  5. Press the dough into a tart tin and chill for 20 minutes.
  6. Bake the crust for 15 minutes until golden. Let cool.
  7. Warm the chocolate hazelnut spread with heavy cream and vanilla.
  8. Pour the filling into the crust and sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top.
  9. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Chill the dough before baking to prevent shrinking.
