Ingredients

  • 2 cups onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare jars and lids for canning.
  2. Chop all vegetables and place in a large pot.
  3. Add vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic, chili powder, and black pepper.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Fill jars with hot chili sauce, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
  7. Seal jars with lids and process in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove jars and let cool completely before storing.
