- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups cooked ham, diced
- 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced ham, and shredded Swiss cheese.
- In another bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and ham mixture, and stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter, mixing until the breadcrumbs are coated.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken to save time on cooking and shredding the chicken.
- Feel free to substitute the Swiss cheese with other cheeses like mozzarella or provolone if preferred.
- For added flavor, consider adding some Dijon mustard to the soup mixture.
