  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it reduce for about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Stir in the sliced chicken and Parmesan cheese until everything is well combined.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
