Description
A refreshing and fruity watermelon sorbet made easily in an ice cream maker. Perfect for hot summer days!
Ingredients

- 4 cups Seedless watermelon
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons Fresh lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- optional for garnish Mint leaves
Instructions
- Place the cubed watermelon in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine the watermelon puree, granulated sugar, lime juice, and salt. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to ensure it’s very cold.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Transfer the sorbet to a lidded container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
- Scoop into bowls, garnish with mint leaves if desired, and enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure to use seedless watermelon for a smoother texture.
- For an extra kick, add a splash of vodka or rum to the mixture before churning.
