Ingredients

- 1 inch fresh turmeric root
- 1 inch fresh ginger root
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Peel and chop the turmeric and ginger roots.
- Boil the water in a small pot.
- Add the turmeric and ginger to the boiling water.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Strain the mixture into a glass.
- Add lemon juice and honey, stir well.
- Pour into shot glasses and serve.
Notes
- Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Adjust honey to taste.
- You can add cayenne pepper for an extra kick.
