Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Spread additional ketchup on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Serve with mashed potatoes or vegetables.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
