- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup cabbage, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped

Instructions
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Add cabbage, carrots, and onion to the pot and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Drain excess water and return vegetables to the pot.
- Add butter, salt, and pepper, and mash until desired consistency.
- Serve warm with vegetable broth.
