A festive spread of traditional Thanksgiving dishes.
Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Stuffing – 2 cups
- Mashed Potatoes – 4 cups
- Gravy – 2 cups
- Cranberry Sauce – 1 can
- Green Beans – 1 lb
- Pumpkin Pie – 1 pie
- Rolls – 12 pieces
- Butter – 1 cup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Prepare the turkey by seasoning it and placing it in a roasting pan.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing.
- Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, basting every hour.
- Meanwhile, boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and milk.
- Prepare gravy using turkey drippings.
- Steam green beans until bright green.
- Serve cranberry sauce straight from the can.
- Warm rolls in the oven before serving.
- Slice and serve pumpkin pie for dessert.
Notes
- Allow turkey to rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- Use leftover turkey for sandwiches.
