Ingredients

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 pounds)
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups gravy
- 3 cups green beans, trimmed
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the stuffing by sautéing celery and onion in butter.
- Add stuffing mix, broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the foil in the last hour to brown the skin.
- Prepare mashed potatoes and green beans while the turkey cooks.
- Serve turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and cranberry sauce.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
- Use leftovers for sandwiches or soups.
