Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add steak bites and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté mushrooms and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  6. Return steak bites to the pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve hot.
