- 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add steak bites and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté mushrooms and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Return steak bites to the pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot.

- Use a tender cut of beef for best results.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
