Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add steak bites and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
  6. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return steak bites to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley if desired.
  9. Serve hot over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta.
