Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ribeye steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or cook to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate covered with foil.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter, minced garlic, and thyme. Cook until the garlic is fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes.
- Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter over them to coat.
- For the crispy French fries, prepare according to package instructions or fry freshly cut potatoes until golden and crispy.
- Serve the ribeye steaks hot, garnished with parsley, alongside the crispy French fries.
