- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme. Stir until well combined.
- Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the chicken, and let it cook for additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in mustard and herbs for a few hours before cooking.
