- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and mushrooms until softened.
- Add heavy cream and thyme, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot.
