Ingredients

- 4 lbs beef brisket
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275°F.
- Mix ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
- Rub the brisket with half the sauce and place in a roasting pan.
- Cover tightly with foil and cook for 5 hours.
- Remove foil, brush with remaining sauce, and cook uncovered for 30 more minutes.
- Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check doneness (195°F-205°F).
- Slice against the grain for tenderness.
- Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 3 days.
