  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and onion until the beef is fully cooked and the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and frozen mixed vegetables. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Mix well.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  6. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
