- 200g Emmental cheese
- 200g Gruyère cheese
- 300ml dry white wine
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 small loaf of bread, cut into cubes
Instructions
- Rub the inside of a fondue pot with garlic.
- In a bowl, mix grated Emmental and Gruyère cheeses with cornstarch.
- Pour white wine and lemon juice into the pot and heat gently.
- When warm, gradually add the cheese mixture, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Serve hot with bread cubes for dipping.
Notes
- Use a dry white wine for the best flavor.
- Stir continuously to avoid lumping.
- Add more wine if the mixture is too thick.
