  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, boil the sweet potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, milk, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spread the sweet potato mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, mix the chopped pecans, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and melted butter until the pecans are well coated.
  6. Sprinkle the pecan topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.

Notes
