Ingredients

- 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix mashed sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, milk, 1/4 cup melted butter, vanilla, salt, and eggs in a bowl.
- Spread mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, pecans, and 1/3 cup melted butter for the topping.
- Sprinkle topping over the sweet potato mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use canned sweet potatoes if fresh ones aren’t available.
- For extra crunch, toast the pecans before adding them to the topping.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
