  • 1 (10-inch) cake Angel food cake (Cut into cubes.)
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package Vanilla pudding mix (Instant or cooked, as per your preference.)
  • 2 cups Milk (For making the pudding.)
  • 2 cups Heavy whipping cream (For whipping.)
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar (For sweetening the whipped cream.)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (For flavoring the whipped cream.)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla pudding according to package instructions using 2 cups of milk. Allow it to chill in the fridge until set.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  3. In a large trifle dish or bowl, layer half of the angel food cake cubes on the bottom.
  4. Spread half of the vanilla pudding over the cake layer, followed by half of the mixed berries.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining angel food cake, pudding, and berries.
  6. Top the trifle with the whipped cream, spreading it evenly over the top.
  7. Garnish with additional berries if desired.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
