Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook until the strawberries start to release their juices, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water until smooth. Slowly stir this mixture into the strawberries.
  3. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature before using.
  5. Once cooled, pour the strawberry topping over your cheesecake and serve.

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
