- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries and granulated sugar. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, milk, and vanilla to the butter mixture. Mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Slice the cake into layers. Spread whipped cream and strawberries between layers.
- Top with more whipped cream and strawberries. Serve immediately.

- Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
- Consider adding a splash of lemon juice to the strawberries for extra zing.
