  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

  • 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Prepare your jars by washing them in hot soapy water.
  2. In a bowl, combine the mashed strawberries and granulated sugar. Stir well and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, mix the fruit pectin and water. Bring to a boil and stir for 1 minute.
  4. Add the pectin mixture to the strawberries and stir for another 2 minutes.
  5. Pour the jam into the prepared jars, leaving some space at the top.
  6. Seal the jars and let them sit at room temperature for 24 hours to set.
  7. Transfer the jars to the freezer for long-term storage.
