Description
A delightful strawberry dessert trifle made with layers of angel food cake, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream.

- 1 angel food cake, cubed
- 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the angel food cake and cut it into cubes.
- In a bowl, mix sliced strawberries with powdered sugar and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Layer the bottom of a trifle dish with half of the angel food cake cubes.
- Spread half of the strawberry jam over the cake cubes.
- Add half of the whipped cream on top of the jam.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Top with additional strawberries and whipped cream for garnish.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
- Feel free to add other berries for variety.
- Make it a day ahead for easier serving.
