- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

- 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)
- Optional: additional powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Cut the puff pastry into squares or rectangles and place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each.
- Top the cream cheese mixture with sliced strawberries.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket, pinching to seal.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg mixed with milk.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
