- 1 box of vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup strawberry puree (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix according to package instructions until well combined.
- Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Then use the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
