Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) of strawberry pie filling
  • 1 package (8 oz) of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 1 cup of whipped topping (optional for serving)
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom.
  4. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling and spread it with a spatula.
  5. Sprinkle the dry strawberry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm, topped with whipped topping and fresh strawberries if desired.
