Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Green food coloring
  • 1 cup green frosting
  • Rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
  3. Add eggs and mix well.
  4. Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
  7. Add green food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  8. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool and frost with green frosting.
  11. Top with rainbow sprinkles.

Notes

  • Make sure the cupcakes are completely cool before frosting.
  • Adjust the amount of food coloring for a lighter or darker shade of green.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
