Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons meringue powder
  • 56 tablespoons water
  • Food coloring (various colors)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden.
  8. Let cookies cool completely.
  9. For royal icing, mix powdered sugar, meringue powder, and water until smooth.
  10. Add food coloring and decorate the cooled cookies.
