Description

A warm and creamy spinach soup served with crispy garlic bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a pot, sauté onions and garlic until soft.
  2. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  3. Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Blend the soup until smooth.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  7. For garlic bread, spread butter on bread and sprinkle garlic powder.
  8. Toast bread in an oven until golden brown.
  9. Serve soup hot with garlic bread on the side.
