Description
A warm and creamy spinach soup served with crispy garlic bread.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 4 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In a pot, sauté onions and garlic until soft.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted.
- Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Blend the soup until smooth.
- Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
- For garlic bread, spread butter on bread and sprinkle garlic powder.
- Toast bread in an oven until golden brown.
- Serve soup hot with garlic bread on the side.

- Use fresh spinach for best flavor.
- Adjust cream for desired thickness.
- Vegetable broth can be substituted with chicken broth.
