  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until everything is well combined.
  4. In a separate pot, steam broccoli and carrots until tender but still crisp.
  5. To serve, place a scoop of rice in a bowl, top with the spicy beef mixture, steamed vegetables, and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
