- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thin cutlets.
- In a shallow bowl, combine flour, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the egg.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken cutlet in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken cutlets for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and soy sauce over low heat until warmed and combined.
- Once the chicken is cooked, drizzle the spicy honey sauce over the cutlets.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve.
