- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 whole wheat pita breads
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes until chicken is done.
- Warm the pita breads in a dry pan or microwave for 20 seconds.
- Mix yogurt, lemon juice, and parsley in a small bowl.
- Spread the yogurt sauce inside each pita.
- Add cooked chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
- Fold the pita and serve immediately.
