Delicious pancakes made using sourdough discard.
Ingredients

- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix sourdough discard, milk, egg, and melted butter.
- In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Adjust the thickness with more milk if needed.
- Add vanilla extract for extra flavor.
- These pancakes freeze well for later use.
