Ingredients

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir until dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into rolls.
- Place rolls on a greased baking sheet and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra softness, brush rolls with melted butter after baking.
- Use a stand mixer with a dough hook for easier kneading.
