Tender and flavorful Korean beef made easy in a slow cooker. This dish combines sweet, savory, and spicy flavors for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced beef in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and beef broth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the beef and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Serve topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
