Description
A tender and flavorful slow cooker chuck roast that is easy to prepare.
Ingredients

- 3–4 lbs chuck roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
- Place the roast in the slow cooker.
- Add the chopped onion, carrots, potatoes, and garlic around the roast.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Sprinkle thyme over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
Notes
- Serve with bread for dipping.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- This dish can be frozen for later use.
