Description
Tender beef short ribs slow-cooked in a smoky sweet BBQ sauce.
Ingredients

- 3 lbs beef short ribs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Season ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
- Place ribs in a slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them.
- Add beef broth to the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5 hours.
- Remove ribs, skim fat from the sauce, and serve.
Notes
- For extra smokiness, use a BBQ rub before cooking.
- Shred the meat for sandwiches if preferred.
