Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, bringing it to a simmer. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.

  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
