Instructions

- Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook onion and bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Combine cooked vegetables, sausage, bread, and 1 cup of cheese in the prepared dish.
- Pour egg mixture evenly over the ingredients.
- Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and set in the center.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
