- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 (30-ounce) bag frozen hashbrowns, thawed
- 12 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the thawed hashbrowns evenly on the bottom.
- Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the hashbrowns.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and hashbrowns.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

- You can add other ingredients like bell peppers or mushrooms for added flavor.
