- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hashbrowns, thawed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the thawed hashbrowns and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well and spread evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Layer the cooked sausage over the hashbrowns in the baking dish. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and hashbrowns.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
