- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2–3 tbsp ice water
- 2 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles to fit your tartlet pans.
- Press the dough into the pans and trim the edges.
- Arrange the apple slices in the tartlet shells and drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the apples are tender.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- You can use store-bought salted caramel sauce for convenience.
- Make sure the butter is cold for the best flaky crust.
