- 1 pound ground sausage
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 package (12 oz) mini phyllo cups
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the cream cheese, Rotel tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt to the skillet. Stir until well combined and heated through.
- Spoon the mixture into the mini phyllo cups, filling each one evenly.
- Place the filled cups on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until heated through and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use hot or mild sausage depending on your spice preference.
