Description
A simple and delicious roast beef recipe made in a crock pot.
Ingredients

- 3–4 pounds beef roast
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 4 potatoes, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the roast on all sides in the skillet.
- Place carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic in the crock pot.
- Put the browned roast on top of the vegetables.
- Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Serve hot with vegetables and gravy.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Use any root vegetables you prefer.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
