Description

A rich and flavorful dish combining tender Cajun steak tips with rigatoni pasta in a creamy garlic butter Parmesan sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook steak tips for 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  6. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  9. Add cooked rigatoni to the sauce, tossing to coat.
  10. Slice steak tips and serve over pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture.
  • Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water to thin sauce if needed.
